The spring ash glaze, mixed from a winter of olive-wood fires.
From the kiln log
The first batch with this spring's ash: more olive wood than oak, which made the Ash White slightly warmer.
The kiln element on the left wall failed two hours before peak. We replaced it the next week and re-fired the four pieces that came out underfired.
